Smoke Wisp
A wisp of smoke rises from the pointer: a thin thread that curls, widens, and thins out over a second, following a flowing field so no two wisps curl the same way, yet none is random. Rest, and it thickens; move, and it trails.

Coldbrook · locker ledger
Three lockers, still holding their line.
Every reading here comes straight off the floor sensors. Run the cursor across the ledger and a thread of smoke rises behind it, curling the way cold air actually escapes an open hatch.
