Mission Board
A board you take work FROM, which is a different instrument from a list of what you already hold: postings are pinned and unclaimed, the slots that hold them are few, and accepting one lifts it off its pin and carries it into a slot, leaving the hole behind so the board reads as depleted. With every slot full the board refuses — the card tugs against its pin and springs back.
