Mana Orb
A glass orb of liquid mana whose surface actually moves: two wave layers at different periods, deliberately desynced, because a single sine reads as a machine and two read as liquid. Casting drops the level and sloshes it, an empty cast is refused as clearly as a successful one lands, and regen shimmers until full and then stops.
