Energy Pips
The energy economy that decides when someone comes back: pips drain as they are spent and refill on a timer that only runs while the bank is below full. At zero the wait is stated plainly rather than hidden, because an honest countdown is the mechanic. Nothing here reads the wall clock — the countdown is an interval tick counter, so it renders the same on the server.
