KQ-407 · MERCURY/POOL

Mercury Pool

The interface reflected in a pool of mercury: a chrome surface with a sky-to-ground reflection gradient, ripples that spread from the pointer, and the page floating on it as ink in the metal. The ripples are a real height-field wave; the metal is a reflection model.
